A&H Electric Co.was
founded in September of 1977 by Ray Audas and David Heintz, with the vision of
creating a small electrical contracting business dedicated to customer service,
trust, and reliability.
In the beginning, our focus was
limited to single family residential new construction and repair. Over the course of the
first 5 years, we expanded into the residential multi-family apartment and light
commercial markets.

As time passed and the construction business
boomed in the Greater Houston area, we began to realize our vision of a "small"
organization was not to be. During the early 80’s, A&H Electric Co. bought a new
office and warehouse facility with sites set firmly on growth. Our expansion efforts took
us from the light commercial and residential markets, to the medium to large commercial
and heavy industrial business.

The mid to late 80’s oil
crisis, and collapse of the construction business in our area, brought us to another
crossroads. We were now forced to cater to the electrical repair and maintenance markets
to survive. Repair and maintenance are still our main focus today,
accounting for approximately 50% of our annual sales. The remaining 50% of sales is now a
combination of negotiated, design-build contract work, time plus material projects, and
some selective bid work. |
Over the past 21 years, our dedication
to customer service, trust and reliability have remained a top
priority. These basic business principals, and our many years of experience in all areas
of the electrical trade, will allow us to continue offering the finest electrical
contracting services well into the next century.
